A practical starting order
- Choose a vocation and a balanced party before leaving town. Keep healing support and supplies for the journey.
- Activate fixed portcrystals when you visit settlements, and obtain the Eternal Ferrystone through the early Vernworth story.
- Learn weapon skills at a vocation guild and equip the augments you have unlocked. DCP and character experience are separate progression systems.
- Resolve urgent side quests before resting repeatedly or advancing major story milestones.
- Use the save-screen labels carefully: the September 2, 2026 update introduced three adventure slots, each with Autosave, Interim Save, and Last Inn Rest Save.
Base-game updates versus expansion content
The official log dates the increase from four to six assignable weapon skills to September 2, 2026. Hard Mode and restarting with current data carried over were added on October 9, 2026. These update features should not be confused with purchasing the expansion.
Norgan, its appraisal loop, and equipment tailoring belong to Dark Arisen. Difficulty percentages and loot odds are not supplied here without evidence. Individual guides distinguish official update notes from community walkthrough instructions.
