Warrior: unlock, Arc of Might and knockdown build
Warrior uses greatswords and hammers for charged attacks and knockdowns. Both the Arisen and main pawn can become Warriors after returning a greatsword to Klaus at the Vernworth Vocation Guild.
How to unlock Warrior
Speak to Klaus at the Vernworth Vocation Guild to begin Vocation Frustration. Recover the greatsword from Trevo Mine and return it to him. The same quest also asks for an archistaff for Sorcerer; hand that in too if you want both classes.
Unlocking a vocation does not automatically equip it. Select Warrior through the guild, purchase the skills available at your current vocation rank, and equip a compatible two-handed weapon. Fighter sword skills do not transfer to a greatsword.
Beren and the Warrior maister skill
Find Beren around Borderwatch Outpost and his tent near Moonglow Garden. Complete Claw Them Into Shape, including its equipment and recruit requests, then Beren's Final Lesson. Speak again after his questline; his later location is Beren's Childhood Home south of Checkpoint Rest Town.
Beren awards Champion's Fable, which teaches Arc of Might. Improve his affinity if the gift does not trigger. Arc of Might is a base-game skill, not a reward locked behind the expansion. It consumes all stamina, so reserve it for a reliable opening rather than a moving target.

Build priorities and recent fixes
Use Barge between slower attacks to interrupt pressure, then release charged attacks when the enemy commits. Learn Chain of Blows and Breakneck Strike rather than relying only on repeated button presses. Dominance supports knockdown power, while Endurance and Exaltation support stamina management.
For a pawn tank, replace an offensive slot with Bellow or Roar and consider Provocation. Bring a Mage plus a ranged attacker to cover the slow weapon's gaps. Prioritize suitable knockdown resistance and weapon enhancement over an unsourced damage tier.
The September 2, 2026 update adjusted Barge charge retention and several charged attacks. The October 16 hotfix specifically corrected Goring Lunge cancellation. Neither note gives a numerical damage multiplier for this build.
