Eternal Wakestone
The Eternal Wakestone is the Sphinx's final chest reward and revives multiple nearby dead NPCs. It is consumed on use: Eternal does not mean unlimited revivals.
Obtain the stone
- Find the Sphinx at the Mountain Shrine and complete her riddles, then follow her to the Frontier Shrine.
- Finish the remaining riddles before fighting if you want their rewards. Solving them does not itself give the final chest key.
- Defeat the Sphinx while targeting her animal parts. An Unmaking Arrow fired at a rear leg is the documented shortcut; avoid her human face and chest.
- Collect the Key of Sagacity and unlock the large golden chest behind her.
Use and make a working copy
Carry the stone to the area containing the dead NPCs and use it from the inventory. Its area effect differs from an ordinary Wakestone, which revives one target. It does not restore a quest branch that has already resolved merely by changing its narrative outcome.
Fextralife documents a working duplicate from Ibrahim's Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town, with a listed fee of 30,000 G. Commission the copy before consuming your last original, and check the actual displayed fee.
An ordinary Wakestone forgery is a nonfunctional Wokestone. Do not generalize the Eternal Wakestone exception to other forged items.
The chest and forgery route are guide-documented. Capcom changed some loot and rewards in June 2026; this page does not claim a freshly measured current loot table or unlimited free use.
Questions
Is the Eternal Wakestone reusable?
No. One stone revives nearby NPCs in one use and is consumed.
Does Ibrahim make a working copy?
The cited item guide documents functional Eternal Wakestone copies, unlike ordinary Wokestone forgeries.
